The 19-year-old man accused of murdering a teenager in Valkeakoski was looking for information about dark things just shortly before his shocking act.
The search history of the man’s phone revealed his interest in violent and sexual crimes. He had searched for information about rape, strangulation with a belt, killing, and serial killers.
Among the names the man applied for was one known as a serial predator Mika MoringFinnish serial killer, US serial killers Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy and Ted Bundy and the monster doctor of Nazi Germany Josef Mengele.
He also sought information about the party paying the lawyer’s fee, child pornography and pedophilia, rape convictions and masturbating in a store.
Eight sexual images of the child were found on the man’s phone.
According to the defendant’s assistant, true crime is popular entertainment, and it cannot be directly concluded that the man planned his crime.
The man is accused in Pirkanmaa District Court of manslaughter, aggravated child rape. The victim, a 15-year-old girl, was found dead in a forest near Naaka’s residential area last May.
According to the prosecutor, the defenseless girl had been raped and killed by strangulation.
In addition, the man is accused of possessing an image depicting a child sexually.
The prosecutor demands at least 13 years of unconditional imprisonment for the man.
