Wednesday’s was a snowy night, confirming what the forecasts had indicated: that it would be a heavy snowfall.
And the snow does not end. On Thursday morning it was still snowing.
It is said that there would be accumulations of between 20 to 30 centimeters of snow.
The city works at full speed cleaning the streets – some 2,000 salt-spreading trucks and other ice cleaning trucks – and many people do their thing cleaning sidewalks and spaces in front of buildings and homes.
There are strong winds and for much of the night there was poor visibility.
