Thick plumes of smoke can be seen far and wide. The smell of burning rubber can also be smelled everywhere in the vicinity of the company. According to the safety region, the advice is to still keep windows and doors closed.
“The smoke will blow straight over the city of Den Bosch tonight. Around midnight the wind will turn about 180 degrees and then the plumes of smoke will move towards the south of Gelderland,” said a spokesman for the security region.

Aftercare for local residents
The company is located on the river Dieze and the water board is afraid that the extinguishing water will pollute the river. The fire broke out this morning around 4:30 am. During the day, two army helicopters have also been deployed, emptying large water bags above the sea of flames.
