A look back at the ball celebrating 80 years since the Liberation of Nice

Yesterday a ball on the theme of the 1940s and 1950s was held in Nice, at the Théâtre de Verdure. It opens 4 days of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Nice during the Second World War. Check out some photos from the event here.

From 6 pm, the green theater release music and dance steps from the public, along with several dancers. The opportunity to celebrate history, the city of Nice “proud and glorious” as the General de Gaulle in 1945. On the site, there were several stands so that everyone could eat or drink. Until midnight, celebrations followed each other to celebrate with joy and good humor. Until Wednesday, other ceremonies will then take place, such as a torchlight vigil, or praise fighters against Nicein the town hall.
