Sony this week unveiled its new vlog camera ZV-E10. It is their first vlog camera in the Alpha series with a replaceable lens. The camera is equipped with a 24.2 megapixel APS-C Exmor ™ CMOS sensor and a BIONZ X processor. In this clip, Brandon from ShortCircuit goes through the functions of the camera.
The camera has, among other things, got some features from Sony’s other popular vlog camera, ZV-1, of which the ZV-E10 is supposed to be some kind of big brother. A button for “Background defocus”, which should get the background of the video out of focus quickly and the “Product Showcase” mode that vloggers can use when filming a product, this function should prioritize focus on the object instead of the person in the video.
The ZV-E10 will be available at the end of August at several retailers for either SEK 8,500 for the camera only, or SEK 9,500, which also includes a kit with E PZ 16-50mm F3.5–5.6 OSS power zoom lens.
