This morning, Mayor Carlos Sánchez signed a contract with Banco Provincia “where we promise to receive two Caterpillar graders,” he reported at a press conference.
“The bank is going to deposit the money to make the purchase. It is a procedure that we have been talking about for several months, with the approval of the deliberative Council, to take out the credit, which is 60 million pesos, to buy two motor graders that will be destined to the rural road part “, detailed the official.
He also maintained that “it is an important step because we give the road part the possibility to have those machines, which is not bad for them today. We must continue to maintain the roads, the machines are aging and require renovation,” he said. .
Regarding the planning that leads to the purchase of these two instruments, he reported that “we had the program of buying one per year, last year it was not possible to buy, now we are buying two.”
The mayor explained that this type of machine has a useful life of 8 to 10 years. So “every year we buy one and we keep the machinery park in good condition to be able to provide a good service,” he concluded.
