The GISA LIONS went to the last game in 2020 on December 30th. to Heidelberg. Before the joy of the first away win, achieved there, after what felt like an eternity, gets free, a note in advance.

It is idle to speculate about the outcome of the game if Nelson and Nash, who were absent due to injuries, had been there – we wish both of them all the best and may the SNP BasCats always be happy in the new year!
The GISA LIONS didn’t need the same that evening, because they played 40 minutes of amazing team basketball and celebrated their third win in a row. Once again, it seems to be confirmed that success releases energy and confidence. Despite all the critics, the lionesses have once again shown the potential of this team and with the signing of Stella Fouraki the missing piece of the puzzle was found under the basket. Thus, in the absence of the lack of New Year’s Eve fireworks, this victory was an imaginary blast and should be used as a motivational rocket for the upcoming second half of the season to develop the glimmer of hope created in December into a constant beacon.
Let’s look optimistically to the months ahead and wish all of us good health and the accompanying, memorable, countless special basketball moments in the Toyota DBBL!
