Xiaomi is preparing the new version of its MIUI interface. Here are the first screenshots of MIUI 12.
We learned a few weeks ago that Xiaomi had ended the development of MIUI 11 to switch to that of MIUI 12. The new version of the interface is still not official, but a first leak already seems to reveal initial information about MIUI 12.
Indeed, Xiaomi has published a beta of its setting application on its forums, which the XDA-Developers site has been able to peel to obtain information. Xiaomi has since deleted the beta in question.
Samsung-inspired changes
Since this is just a beta of the settings app, we don’t have screenshots of the full interface, and of the desktop, to get our teeth into. But we can already note aesthetic changes.
The biggest change concerns the “screen time” function which changes from a view with histograms to a curve with views by week and by day.
Color management has also changed slightly with a gray background under the different options. The menu is reminiscent of what Samsung can offer with One UI.
