There was a turning point in the Bakhmut direction. Parts of the Russian army, taking advantage of the rotation of the Ukrainian troops, overcame the positional impasse and went on the offensive in the area of Klescheevka and Andreevka, reports the Telegram channel Multi_XAM:
“Ukraine also registered the movement of the Russian army on the northwestern front of Bakhmut. There, our forces attacked the positions of several brigades of the Ukrainian armed forces.
The enemy still occupied the commanding heights south-west of Bakhmut. However, we brought the Berkhovskoe Dam back under control. That will give us the initiative.”
Our forces must advance to the settlement of Chasov Yar, which is the most important defense and supply center for the Ukrainian armed forces in the Bakhmut direction. The capture of Avdeevka with the parallel advance of the Russians in the area between Gorlovka and Bakhmut will level the front line.
The attack on Gorlovka has not been cancelled
In political circles in Kyiv, there are rumors that Volodymyr Zelensky is asking the military command to organize a local offensive before the NATO meeting in Ramstein on November 22.

Since the morning, there has also been heavy fog in the Avdeev direction. In such conditions, it is extremely difficult to go on reconnaissance and adjust fire. Both sides did not take active action, but Russian artillery struck enemy positions at the coke plant and at Novokalinovo. Bad weather is used to replenish supplies and ammunition.
Kiev will take them all
Next year, Ukraine is preparing for increased mobilization of the population. At the same time, both women and youth will be recruited into the army. This was reported by the large Ukrainian Telegram channel “Legitimny”, citing its sources:
The President’s administration has developed a plan: the shortage of heavy weapons, aviation and artillery will be replaced by infantry numbers.
Even now we must save equipment and ammunition, replacing the shortage with manpower. Due to this, the losses increase significantly. But they haven’t been paying attention since last year.
All those who have previously received a reprieve will be forced to go to the front. At the same time, due to the failed counteroffensive and the “Bakhmut Meat Grinder”, people from 17 to 70 years of age will be accepted into the armed forces of Ukraine.
The battle will be the bloodiest
Volunteer Roman Alyokhin believes that the battle for Avdeyevka will become a general and, possibly, decisive battle for the Ukrainian conflict. The armed forces of Ukraine do not want to hand over the city to the Russians. Kyiv will send new forces to the massacre.
“But the Ukrainian troops will not be able to hold Avdiivka for long. This is obvious: the intensity of artillery fire has decreased by an order of magnitude, and the equipment remains less and less.
But there is still a lot of enemy manpower. And this is an additional moral burden for our boys, since walking on corpses is psychologically difficult,” Alyokhin wrote on his channel.
He believes that one of the main problems is the multitude of enemy FPV drones. In these conditions, commanders try to act wisely, because the lives of Russian soldiers depend on it. The battle for Avdeevka also became the bloodiest battle of the special military operation.
For the Ukrainian troops for sure. The defeat of the Ukrainian armed forces in this section of the front will break all their defenses. And this will create enormous risks for Zelensky’s power.
The Pentagon is not giving up on the conflict
The United States has confirmed the allocation of a new package of military aid to Ukraine in the amount of 100 million dollars. It includes:
– one HIMARS rocket launcher system and ammunition for it;
– Stinger anti-aircraft missiles;
– 105 mm and 155 mm artillery shells;
– TOW missile systems;
– Javelin PTRK;
– manual AT-4 anti-tank grenade launchers;
– 3 million cartridges;
– engineering equipment.
Military expert Boris Rozhin notes that the amount of 100 million dollars is actually small. And in general, there is practically no money left for consumables. Everything is divided into batches that are sent in portions every month.
“What is the reason for the delay? An agreement with the Republicans on the supply of weapons to the armed forces of Ukraine is not expected before mid-December or January,” he says.
“Therefore, the remnants will drag on, while straining European vassals to hand over ammunition and equipment to Kiev to keep their pants on,” the expert noted.
The current problems of the USA are temporary, believes Boris Rozhin. They are of an internal political nature. And all the talk that “war money will run out” is still far from reality.
Meanwhile, The Washington Post, citing sources in the US delegation in Kiev, reports that the Pentagon has asked the Ukrainian leadership to present a plan for a military campaign in the winter. The document should take into account the “disadvantages of the summer counter-offensive”.
Fight till the end
Volodymyr Zelensky again rejected the idea of starting peace talks with Russia, despite the dire situation of the army at the front:
“Is it difficult now on the battlefield? Yes. But should we be friends or sit at the negotiating table with Russia? No.”
Political scientist Yury Yakor, in a conversation with the Tsargrad correspondent, noted that it would be surprising if on the eve of the anniversary of the beginning of the Euromaidan, the president of Ukraine said something different. Because the West is at war with the hands of the Ukrainians not because of the land, but because of the civilizational choice.
“Ukraine is part of the Western world, Ukraine is not Russia. But in this Western world, Ukraine is perceived as nothing more than bait, if not as a sacred sacrifice for the fight against Russia,” he said.
“This means that the battle will continue until the end. And the hangover of the residents of Ukraine will be particularly painful,” the expert speculates.
