Coach Ramón Menezes announced that the following players of established importance in the ‘Verdeamarelha’ will not be in the friendly against Morocco on March 25.
Menezes decided to cut Marquinhos and Richarlison from the main squad, after getting injured with their respective clubs in Europe.
For his part, Marquinhos from PSG, has an injury to his abdominal muscles, while Richarlison, a striker with Tottenham, suffered an injury this Saturday playing in the Premier League against Southampton. Rodrigo Lasmar, the doctor for the Brazilian team, was informed directly by the Tottenham medical team that Richarlison is in no condition to travel or play.
The commitment of the Brazilian team against Morocco will be played in Tangier, being the first of the five-time champion after the elimination of the Qatar 2022 World Cup in the quarterfinals by the Croatian team.
