A large number of flights were canceled at Frankfurt Airport

Germany’s Frankfurt International Airport is currently experiencing problems due to a technical malfunction in German air traffic control. The airport’s operating company, Fraport, said on its website on Friday that there were significant delays in operations and flights were cancelled.
The company recommended that passengers regularly check the status of their flight on the websites of the relevant airlines.
German air traffic control announced that there was a problem with data exchange, adding that it has now been fixed.
The authorities did not announce further details.
