Firefighters have been battling a large fire at an industrial building Monday morning in Chelsea, Massachusetts.
Various fire departments worked to control the situation amid the flames that erupted from the structure.
It was a job well done by officers on Crescent Avenue as first responders battled the complex fire, which is understood to be in a vacant warehouse. .
Chelsea Fire Chief John Quatieri said the call came in around 12:30 a.m. at the Forbes site, which he said had been abandoned for 15 years. He said firefighters inspect the building, which is a four-story mill-style structure, every week.
At around 6 in the morning, Chief Quatieri said that most of the fire has been knocked down, but firefighters are still visible and will be there for most of the day.
Passengers on the Newburyport/Rockport line can expect delays due to fire activity. Passengers will be transported by shuttle bus in both directions between Chelsea and Lynn, where they will board a train to continue the service.

The response has blocked the streets of the area, with Eastern Avenue closed from Chelsea Street to Broadway. Side streets in the area are also closed.
No injuries have been reported.
Fire crews managed to stop the fire from spreading to a nearby building in the building. However, it was a tough test, as the building was surrounded by water on three sides and passenger railway tracks on the other.
There is concern that the building may collapse.
An investigation will be conducted by the state fire marshal to determine the cause of the fire.
