A state of emergency has been declared in the village of Karl Marx in the Uzgen region due to an impending landslide, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
Recall that a landslide with a volume of about 1 million cubic meters came down there as a result of activation of the earth’s crust the day before.
At the specified site, there was a threat to 18 residential buildings, the distance to them was 300 meters. In this regard, 195 residents were evacuated to the village of Kurshab.
– The landslide is moving slowly, and at the moment there are 120 meters left to residential buildings. Yesterday, March 22, a state of emergency of a natural nature of the first degree was declared in the village of Karl Marx. Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Akylbek Mazaripov is monitoring the situation on the spot, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
