As we explained weeks ago in this newspaper, the achievement of the cupbearer title by the Betis secured one more place for the Spanish teams in Europe. The only condition for this not to happen is that the Betis left out of the European positions where right now it is fifth in Europa League positions, just three points from fourth, the last of the Champions Leagueand six from Villarreal, the first team outside of Europe.
