Available March 5, and for only two weeks, she’s making the event. This is the second time in its history that the crocodile brand has collaborated with a star who is not from sport. The first was rapper Tyler, The Creator.
Despite her fame, the pop star is also making an unprecedented foray into the world of fashion. Even if he had made a few small appearances for other brands, the singer recognized that Lacoste was the first label that gave him carte blanche. Working with Louise Trotter, the firm’s creative director, he got involved from A to Z in the design work.
With its seventies influences and its colorful and graphic patterns, the Ricky Regal line testifies to the joyful and luminous character that emanates from the personality of Bruno Mars. Between bright shirts, jackets for men and women with elongated collars, matching shorts, a pair of golden sunglasses, the interpreter ofUptown Funk has respected the luxurious / laid back DNA of Lacoste.
The collection finally marks the opening of a revolutionary concept store for the label, to be found on Melrose Avenue, in Los Angeles. Accessible only by appointment, it will be renewed every six weeks.
