/ world today news/ On August 1 in Luxor, Egypt, the exhibition “Journey through Civilizations – Meeting Liangju” was opened. It is jointly organized by the China Media Group (CMG), the Luxor Museum and the Chinese Cultural Center in Cairo.
Deputy Chief of the Publicity Department of the CCP Central Committee and Director of KMG Shen Haixun and Luxor Governor Imra attended the opening together.
In his welcome speech, Shen Haixun pointed out that Luxor is “the largest open-air museum in the world” with a huge number of cultural relics – a symbol of the impressive civilization of ancient Egypt. KMG is willing to deepen cooperation with Luxor authorities in joint production of programs, promotion of tourism resources, protection of cultural heritage and organization of exhibitions, exchange of personnel.
Governor Imra said that Luxor hopes to cooperate with KMG to show its nature, historical heritage and history to more Chinese and thus promote mutual understanding between the two countries.
