A KMG documentary on the “Beijing Man” was presented in Paris – 2024-03-11 18:47:56

/ world today news/ On December 19, the documentary film “The Peking Man: The Last Secret of Mankind” was officially presented at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris. The film tells about the fossilized remains of prehistoric people found not far from the Chinese capital. The film is a co-production between the China Media Group, the French National Television Group and the French production company “10.7”.

UNESCO Deputy Director General Qiu Xing, Antoine Arnault, LVMH board member, film director Jacques Malaterre and more than 700 guests from both countries attended the event.

In his video speech, Shen Haixun, deputy chief of the Publicity Department of the CCP Central Committee and director of KMG, said that covering two million years of human evolution, the film reproduces the magical stories of the ancient people of the East. He pointed out that the China Media Group has always worked to disseminate the excellent Chinese and world cultural works, believing that the preservation and promotion of the world’s cultural diversity is the most basic guarantee for the flourishing of human civilization from generation to generation.
