The cursing Deadpool has been a Disney character since the family-friendly company took over Studio Fox. But as you can see in our preview video, Disney does not want to put any shackles on the mutant played by Ryan Reynolds:
When it became known that Disney would take over the competitor Fox and the film rights to the X-Men including Deadpool, many film fans asked themselves: Will Marvel film director Kevin Feige now ensure that the announced “Deadpool 3” becomes a family film in that you can take your own grandma with you to the cinema without hesitation, who perhaps stayed even better at home with “Deadpool” and “Deadpool 2”?
As much as the Marvel Cinematic Universe is admired for its quality and the unique coherence of content, we are visibly dealing with a Disney product in this film series that, like the Pixar and “Star Wars” films, is family-friendly The claim of the most valuable media company in the world is subject to. Even if half of all living beings in the universe are destroyed in the MCU movie “Avengers 3: Infinity War”, it is not too brutal, and even if a bon vivant like Tony Stark is the central hero, it never becomes too suggestive. How does an antihero named Deadpool fit into the portfolio, who prefers either to make sex jokes, to fuck or to bloody mow down his opponents?
Dirty at Disney too
Our video producer Sebastian Gerdshikow explains in his large preview video for “Deadpool 3” that the third part of the series, which has always been rated as FSK-16, is actually also under Marvel film director Kevin Feige and the supervision of Disney a rough spectacle, as the fans are used to from the series. Here the mouse company has probably just recognized that it would be a massive own goal to tame Deadpool in favor of the group line, since in this case the fans would be alienated and it would be questionable whether anything would be won. After all, Disney has enough other family-friendly brands in its range.
