The Municipality of Dunakeszi City won a HUF 800 million non-refundable grant in the TOP PLUSZ-3.3.1-21 tender, from which – and the municipality’s own share – Aranyalma Tagóvoda will be expanded with 4 group rooms and 108 places – Mayor Csaba Dióssi announced at the Tuesday morning press conference. The project is implemented within the framework of the Széchenyi Terv Plusz Program, the design work of which has begun. The tender for the construction of the new kindergarten was won by Laterex Zrt., it was announced at the site of the investment.
The new children’s institution is being built with the help of a HUF 800 million non-refundable grant, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Hungarian budget. The planned handover deadline for the completion of the project is December 1, 2024.
The mayor of the city expressed his pleasure that he can announce another successful application by the municipality, thanks to which the number of preschool places maintained by the municipality will increase to 1,521 in the city starting from 2025 by 108 new places.
Csaba Dióssi reminded that five kindergartens have been built in Dunakesz since 2010, as a result of which every child can now attend a kindergarten that meets the needs of the 21st century. He also felt good about the fact that, thanks to the large-scale developments, kindergarten care is now provided for children with special educational needs (SEN) in Aranyalma Tagóvoda.
In her voice, she thanked the staff of the Dunakeszi Kindergarten and Human Services Center and Library (DÓHSZK), led by Valéria Ónodi Szabóné, about the nationally recognized professional activities of kindergarten teachers.
Valéria Szabóné Ónodi, head of the DÓHSZK, stated that she was participating in the important event with a special feeling, as she was able to accompany the creation of the Aranyalma Kindergarten from the design stage, which will be expanded with 4 group rooms and 108 beds thanks to the latest successful project. He considered it important to emphasize that the expansion of places creates an opportunity to help the children’s development with even more high-quality professional work.
Zsolt Bálint, the chief engineer of Laterex Zrt., said that their company is not working on the first major project in Dunakeszi, among which the construction of the Dunakeszi Student Quarter stands out.
In relation to the expansion works of Aranyalma Kindergarten, he underlined: continuing the correct cooperation with the municipality, the professional expectations of kindergarten teachers are fully taken into account in the construction of the institution, which includes 4 new group rooms.
– The professional performance of Laterex Zrt. is a guarantee that we will hand over the new 108-place kindergarten to the ordering municipality in excellent quality and within the specified deadline – announced chief engineer Zsolt Bálint.
Krisztián Pethő, the local government representative of the district, was happy to say that, in his opinion, Dunakeszin Alag-liget is developing the most dynamically: – The expansion of the Aranyalma Kindergarten, built a few years ago, is now starting, we have also managed to expand the new nursery school with a new one, and the modern Szent István Primary School was built here. Thanks to the conscious institutional development of the municipality, the children living here can go to daycare, kindergarten, and school locally, which is a great joy for all of us, said Krisztián Pethő.
