The local press reported on the small animal stuck on its cliff. Several Internet users mobilized to help him.
A miracle. An incredible human chain was put in place to save a kid stranded alone for nearly four days on a cliff in Hawaii, reports local media Hawaii News Now.
The little white goat was spotted by a resident of Waianae this Monday, November 4. When alerted, firefighters, the Hawaiian Department of Land and Natural Resources and the Hawaiian Humane Society all declared that they could not rescue the animal.

The local press reported on the small animal stuck on its cliff. Kailua resident Govinda Hansen learned about the goat and its story from her husband. He discovered the sad story on the local media’s Instagram page.
“He said to me ‘look, there’s a goat. It looks like it’s stuck’. He showed it to me and I’m a fan of baby animals or animals in general, so I thought what we had to go get this goat,” explained Govinda Hansen.
She did not intervene alone to come to the aid of the little white animal. People joined the rescue mission. One of them offered Govinda Hansen climbing equipment.
Everyone met at the foot of the cliff. “The goat started panicking as we approached, so we stayed back,” reported one participant in the rescue mission.
“I was very relieved to find him safe and sound”
Experienced hikers took part in the operation by making their way up the cliff. Once within range of the goat, they brought out an apple and a drone to distract it. The animal then approached. After 45 minutes of descent, the kid, hungry and thirsty, found the ground.
“I was very relieved to find him safe and sound,” Govinda Hansen told local media. “We called him Bala. Bala means white. He’s beautiful.” Bala has since been placed in a sanctuary to live safely.
