‘That was it in Boskoop. We have closed the door of our house for good. With a smile, but certainly also with a tear,” the family writes on Instagram. The Kraantjes worked for weeks to be able to move. ‘Decluttering, tidying up, sorting things out, packing boxes, taking a booking course, getting a first aid certificate and regularly going back and forth to Luxembourg.’
Mama Linda gets emotional while cleaning the house. ‘Especially the memory of Elin’s birth, just before Christmas, in the middle of the night. With the help of only Ivan and Marlynn, Quinten and Sam who immediately met their little sister … That memory, that did something to me, “she writes. “The signatures have been signed, the keys have been handed over to the new residents, we have cuddled a lot with everyone we love so much.”
Not everyone is moving to Luxembourg. ‘We also hope to experience great moments in Luxembourg. And although we are not complete without our oldest boys, they are here. Because they will definitely come to us. We make it cozy, provide a wonderful place to sleep, lots of goodies, good music and lots of fun.’
The family will run a campsite in Luxembourg. A new adventure, a new life, a smile and a tear. And that is allowed, because only when you really leave do you realize who you are going to miss,’ says de Kraantjes.
