A huge merger to create the biggest French club?

A club with more than 1800 licensees?

If the project seems crazy enough, it would be about to see the light of day very soon according to the Progress. Four clubs from the west of Lyon are about to merge to create a huge entity: GOAL FC or Grand Ouest Association Lyonnaise FC.

MDA Foot (Monts d’Or Anse), resident of National 2, Tassin FC (D2), Champagne Sport FC (D4) and Futsal Saône Monts d’Or would be the four member associations of the project. This merger would bring together more than 1,800 members, dispersed in all the existing poles of the world of football: male football, female football, young football and futsal.
