A “hot line” will operate in the Press Council regarding the presidential elections to be held on February 7. SIA was informed about this by the Council.
It was reported that the mobile numbers of the Council (012) 441 35 96 city, (050) 242 09 91 and (055) 789 85 03 will operate in this mode from the moment the voting starts until the end. By contacting these numbers, journalists will have the opportunity to report possible misunderstandings and problems during coverage of the process.
In addition, the members of the Board of the Press Council registered as journalists and observers will observe the situation created for journalists to carry out their professional activities in the district and precinct election commissions in the capital and regions.
It should be noted that the Press Council will work in conjunction with the relevant authorities to support journalists’ free activities related to coverage of the presidential elections.
