Last Sunday, the Citadel area in Cairo witnessed a tragic incident, when a young 20-year-old man threw himself from the top of the wall, trying to end his life, documenting the moment he launched into a broadcast live with “audio and image”. on his personal Facebook page.
And the young man said: “In this last period I have been exposed to many difficult situations, which have made me a weak person who can’t take it anymore, so I decided that I would end my life, and I went to the tower. They told me it is forbidden to enter alone, so I came here, forgive me, it was my father who led me to this”.
According to the circulating video clip, which Al-Arabiya.net refuses to publish, one person was yelling at a woman, saying, “Tell the police about someone who jumped.”
The young man’s family has denied what was circulated about the young man’s death, and revealed that he is fine, and is now being treated in a hospital in Maadi, Cairo Governorate, due to some injuries and fractures due to his jump from a height of the fence.
The uncle’s son of the young man who attempted suicide explained to “Cairo 24” through a live telephone intervention, where he said that Mustafa is well and in the best condition, asking people to pray for him, and expressing his anger for the deeds people turn to and accusing him of falsehood that he is an infidel.
He said that Mustafa needs psychological support in this period, especially the current period, denying what has been circulated about the young man’s statements about the abuse suffered by his father, emphasizing that his father is a good man who cannot be a reason for Mustafa’s chest anguish until he commits suicide.
