The Clairvaux-les-Lacs firefighters and the fire brigade mountain group (GMSP) intervened this Sunday February 21 following a hiking accident that occurred around 3:30 p.m. They rescued a fifty-year-old between the Publy station and the commune of Verges.
Initially, a helicopter hoisting by Dragon 25 was considered. But the helicopter was unable to recover the victim and had to leave.
The hiker therefore had to be evacuated on foot by stretcher. She was taken to Lons-le-Saunier hospital but her life is not in danger.
