On Saturday, the Palestinian Civil Defense Service in Gaza announced the recovery and rescue of more than 300 Palestinians, including dead and wounded, as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted the Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood, east of Gaza City..

The government media in Gaza called on the international community and the United States of America to immediately stop the genocidal war that the occupation army continues to commit against children and women, indicating that the continuation of this war means that there is approval and a green light for the continuation of brutal killing.

Director of the Loss Statistics Team at the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, Hossam Khalifa, confirmed today, Sunday, that the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip caused the partial or complete destruction of 250,000 housing units out of 400,000 units, by more than 50 percent.%.

Regarding the health sector situation, Khalifa explained in a press briefing that 37,000 Palestinian citizens were injured as a result of the aggression, with 70% of hospitals in the Strip out of service..

In turn, the director of statistics at the agency, Muhammad Qalalwa, said that the direct losses to the economy in the Gaza Strip amounted to about 700 million dollars during the first month of the war..

Qalalwa added in a press briefing that 147,000 workers stopped working in the private sector, in addition to 56,000 establishments stopping work.

He expected the poverty rate in the Gaza Strip to rise to about 90%, and unemployment to rise to about 65%, pointing out that the inflation rate reached about 12% for goods and services..

Qalalwa said: “The economic losses in the Gaza Strip during the siege period since 2007 amounted to about $35 billion, without taking into account the effects of the current aggression.”
