The second edition of the UNICEF Heroes Match will be organized at Groupama Stadium on 10 May.

The legends of Unicef ​​and OL will meet in the lair of Olympique Lyonnais for a solidarity match to collect donations for children and their families in Ukraine.

This match will pit Team OL Légendes, represented by iconic captains Sonny Anderson, Sidney Govou and Grégory Coupet, midfielders Michael Essien and Djila Diarra, Brazilian defenders Cris and Claudio Caçapa, as well as Tony Parker and streamer Domingo, against each other. Team UNICEF, made up of 98 World Champions Christian Karembeu and Robert Pirès, the former glory of Juventus Turin Claudio Marchisio, former French international Laure Boulleau, comedians Paul Mirabel and Redouane Bougheraba, tennis player Alizé Lim or again the chef Juan Arbelaez.

The first edition of the hero match in 2021 in Marseille raised more than 400,000 euros for children in Côte d’Ivoire.

The ticket office is already open. Tickets cost between 10 and 60 euros. The majority of the funds raised, thanks to ticket sales and donations made during the event, will be donated to UNICEF to contribute to the financing of humanitarian responses to the emergency in Ukraine. The other part of the revenue from ticketing will be allocated to OL Foundation actions for the education of children.
