The area overflown by the helicopter (between the storage area on the glacis and the gardens of the establishment) will be prohibited from access for the duration of the operations. Security personnel will monitor the operation and prevent public access.
The transported materials, transported by truck to the top of the Bastille, will be stored in big bags: eight tons of sand, two and a half tons of earth and one ton of wood. Several works will thus be able to be carried out in the gardens of the residence: renovation of the garden, paving, construction of vegetable bins… These materials cannot be transported by truck to the gardens of the establishment, due to the narrowness streets of the district and the small space between the establishment and the slopes of the Bastille. The work is expected to last another ten days.
