An accident occurred this Monday morning, around 5:30 a.m., on the A11 motorway between the Chartres Est and Ablis interchanges, towards Paris. After major disruptions, traffic resumed on one lane.
A truck lying across the highway. The image is striking enough to be mentioned. This scene took place this Monday morning, around 5:30 a.m., on the A11 motorway between the Chartres Est and Ablis interchanges, towards Paris.
Involved in an accident, a heavy goods vehicle overturned on the tracks. Fortunately he was not transporting dangerous products but pallets. Traffic was severely disrupted.
In order to raise the truck using a crane, the A11 was cut for a time. Measures had been put in place by Vinci Autoroutes from 7:15 a.m. in the direction of Paris, such as a compulsory exit and a prohibited entry at the Chartres Est interchange (n ° 2) in order to bypass the area via the local network and then resume the A11 motorway at Ablis (n°1).
A recommended exit and a disadvised access to Chartres-Châteaudun (n°3) had also been indicated. These measures have since been lifted.
The motorway is reopened on one lane while the vehicle is evacuated, and traffic is flowing again, announces Vinci on the Twitter account dedicated to the A11:
