SENANDIKA.REPUBLIKA.CO.ID — Apple has finally released the iOS 16.4 update to make it more stable for all eligible iPhones. This latest iterative update fixes several bugs and introduces new minor features, such as 21 new emoji.
Additionally, the update further optimizes crash detection on iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max, and is now available in more markets.
For iOS 16.3.1 users, an iOS 16.4 update will be around 1.8GB in size. However, if you’re using an older version of iOS 16, the update can be as large as 5GB. Users can install this update via a Wi-Fi network, or download and install it using a 5G network.

To download and install iOS 16.4, go to Settings > General > Software Update and enable automatic updates.
Then, click “Install Now” to update your iPhone to iOS 16.4.
Make sure iPhone is connected to a Wi-Fi network or 5G network to download it quickly. Make sure the iPhone has at least 50 percent battery before starting the software update process.
iOS 16.4 update: What’s new?
This is an iterative update that has been released to further stabilize iOS 16. The update introduces 21 new emoji, such as animals, hand gestures, and objects, which can be accessed via the emoji keyboard.
Likewise, the update now lets users add web app notifications to the home screen for easy access.
iOS 16.4 also improves voice call quality by introducing Sound Isolation, which prioritizes the user’s voice and blocks external distractions. With the latest update, iPhone can now detect duplicate photos and videos in iCloud shared photo libraries.
Additionally, there’s voice-over support for maps through the weather app, and Apple now lets users automatically dim videos when a flash or light is detected via Accessibility settings.
