A cluster of bright lights was discovered via a live broadcast from the space station – and people were concerned.
Posted in a Reddit thread r / UFO, recompensor anonim u / tyrannosnorlax shared a screenshot of the live broadcast of the International Space Station.
The video was posted with the caption, “Can someone explain what I just saw on the ISS YouTube live feed?”
People in the comments have their thoughts on what they saw in the 51-second clip.
“Well, I didn’t expect that! Weird damn thanks for sharing,” one person wrote.
“WOW THAT’S SOME REAL UFOs I WOULD TELL WHAT,” added another.
“There was a Reddit account posted seven years ago that extraterrestrials would be contacting us in July 2021 or something. I thought they were talking about it…” wrote a third, apparently pointing to a moment predicted years ago.
Another person joked about the lights and said, “You are here to send the money the Nigerian prince promised in all these emails.”
But now the case of what the light in the sky was has a valid explanation.
In response to the first post, u/tyrannosnorlax made it clear that the lights were originally “turned out to be city lights”.
“Here I have to take L, I’m afraid. At least it was a good learning experience. The more you know!” They said too.
The Redditor also notes that they have been “watched for multiple earth/space rotations,” and there is clear evidence of extraterrestrial junk being seen with each rotation but only occurring once.
In another answer, the Redditor went on to say that Squid fishing lamp “What is the most plausible explanation”, after all.
“By doing second placet Yes, you can see more fishing lights on the bottom right at the start and lots of city lights in the rest of the video. Artifacts that look like stars are the result of the high gain that the ISS camera uses in low light, combined with radiation from space, as far as I understand. In fact, this ISS decoy was never directed into space. However, it is an interesting optical illusion,” they said.
Towards the end of the results, the Redditor noted that positive identification of UFOs should always be the Reddit group’s final “goal” so that “explainable light/phenomenon can be dispelled when viewing truly compelling examples”.
They added, “Jumping to ET conclusions only undermines the ability of the UFO/STEAM community to be taken seriously.”
Squid fishing lights are LED lights that produce offshore lighting from fishing boats that lure squid to the surface. They are available in different colors, but should be blue and green is the best for it.
