At the end of his contract with the FCG, and not retained by the new alpine staff, William Demotte (29 years old, 2.02 m, 102 kg) will return to the SUA, the club whose colors he has worn for five seasons (2012-2017 ), which allowed him to discover the Top 14 (two seasons) but also to know a selection in the French team (during the summer tour in Argentina, in 2016, defeat 19-30).
The SUA has not yet formalized this transfer but, according to our information, the two parties agree to meet again. In Lot-et-Garonne, Demotte will find a team coming out of a nightmarish season (26 defeats in 26 Top 14 games) and which will have to revive in Pro D2.
His replacement is an Englishman
In the space of two seasons, often disturbed by injuries (back, shoulder, calf), Demotte will have played 20 Pro D2 games, including 13 as the holder.
At the position of n ° 5, Demotte will be replaced by Englishman Levi Douglas (25 years old, ex-Toulon), who has just signed up with the FCG.
