Mihailo Tolotos, a Greek Orthodox monk, is said to have lived to 82 years and died without ever having seen a woman, writes Nova TV.
His story is so rarely spoken or written that it is hard to even find information about him on the internet, let alone in books or newspapers.
In 1856, just 4 hours after his birth, his mother died. When his father or other family members failed to appear, the boy was abandoned on the steps of a monastery atop Mount Athos. He was adopted by the monastery and the monks named him Michael Tolotos.
Having very limited contact with the outside world, Tolotos never met women, as they were not allowed to enter monasteries or on the mountain.
