Georgi Lozanov is one of the eccentric figures in our media life.
He is a philosopher by education, one of the most famous media experts in Bulgaria, a culturologist and a professor at the Faculty of Journalism with a clearly stated civic position and a unique style.
This Saturday in the column “Here and now” Desi Banova-Plevnelieva meets us with docent Georgi Lozanov. He talks candidly about why his home is called “The House of the Birds”, why he has a special relationship with his saint and how after a great tragedy his family takes care of two small children?
One of the most difficult moments in Lozanov’s life was when his cousin died in an accident together with his wife.
“Together with relatives, we began to take care of their two children. We helped them to take their own path. Everything happened suddenly, as if a hand took them and took them to heaven. The point is that a person does not give up being happy despite the difficulties Georgi Lozanov said. In his words, love is our only defense against the disturbing human being.
In front of the camera, he also shared an interesting fact about himself – that he has been wearing bow ties since he was a child.
“They were a gift from my grandfather. Then, when I acquired a public image, I started wearing them every day,” added the philosopher.
