A graffiti from València recreates Fernando Simón’s coughing attack | Radio Valencia

Since the beginning of 2020, the coronavirus, has become the main and almost the only protagonist of this year. The virus has changed our way of living, socializing or carrying out the most habitual routine. It has been so viral that it has also infected social networks, the media, conversations with neighbors … or the art.

This Friday has appeared in Valencia a graffiti that represents one of the most commented anecdotes in Spain related to the coronavirus. This is the moment when the director of the Health Emergency Coordination Center, Fernando Simón, suffered a cough attack in full swing. After drinking a little water, he clarified that the cause of his sudden cough was a almond that had been eaten just before the appearance.

The frame in which Simon covers with his arm to cough has now been immortalized in the Juan Giner street in the Benimaclet neighborhood, signed by its author, @ j.warx On Instagram.

A fun graffiti that recalls one of the most commented moments on doctor Simon’s social networks, which has become viral icon and protagonist of numerous memes during these months of alarm.

But this graffiti is not the only one that has appeared on the streets of Benimaclet with the signature of the instagramer. Just before the state of alarm was decreed in Spain, when the 2020 Fallas were still standing, another gratifi appeared in which the author traced the image of another viral meme, this one from a long time ago, starring one of the famous ‘neighbors of Valencia’. The mural represents the ‘outfit’ recommended for parties, with the protagonist covered with garbage bags, in this case, to avoid any contagion.
