The French Blood Establishment and the Sauxillanges voluntary blood donation association organized a collection this Friday, exceptionally relocated to the Sugères multipurpose room, which had not hosted any for six years.
While a national appeal was launched to meet the important needs, the inhabitants of the territory responded present. At the end of the three hours of collection, 46 donors were identified, an honorable figure in this period of pandemic. The other satisfaction of the day came from the number of new donors: 6 people took the procedure for the first time, a figure and a much larger proportion than usual.
The donors were rewarded with a snack prepared and served by the volunteers of the association.
