It rained heavily that night and the next morning at three o’clock I saw Divya going to the bathroom in a dim view. I was so sleepy that I could not understand anything. At three-thirty, Divya tapped me on the shoulder and said, “Vineet, it looks like our baby is coming.”

“The labor pains lasted for fourteen and a half hours, and I was with her for so long. It was the biggest battle I had ever seen.
