A Glimpse into the History of the Nabhani Kings: Latest Publication by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi

SHARJAH, 2nd July, 2020 (WAM) — “Dar – Al Qasimi Publications” has issued the latest historical publications of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, entitled “History of the Nabhani Kings 1154 AD – 1622 AD”, which is the 82nd edition of His Highness in his series of books in Various fields of knowledge (history, biography, investigation, literature and theater) and many of them were translated into 20 foreign languages.

In the book, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi presents the history of the Sultanate of Oman and the region over a period of nearly five hundred years, in which he sheds light on the events and incidents that took place in it, and reveals the smallest details in an interesting narrative historical style and an interesting narrative presentation.
The book “History of the Kings of the Nabhanis” is organized in the contract of the encyclopedia that His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah called “The Sultan of History”.
The book “History of the Kings of the Nabhanis” is a reliable historical record full of minutes of events and details of the events that took place in the period (1154 AD – 1622 AD) in the Arabian Gulf region, where His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah relied, in underlining his book, on his well-established scientific results in history, geography, archeology, and his wide knowledge of Precious manuscripts. His Highness also drew his information from his personal possessions of precious manuscripts, and relied on his treasures of maps and documents.
The book “History of the Nabhani Kings 1154 CE – 1622 CE” is distinguished by what it contained in the first appendix, “Mashjar and the Genealogy of the Nabhani Kings and Sultans”.

In the second appendix, a “gold coin” was discovered by the Sharjah Antiquities Authority in the excavations of the Khorfakkan wall, dating back to the reign of the Great Sultan Saif al-Din Nusrat, who ruled from 1272-1290 AD.
