These are just some of the dozens of funny photos that made it to the finals of the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards this year. One of them will become the overall winner. Which one will it be?

Many of the images that made it to the finals of this year’s photography competition Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards it has a wit and makes you smile at the situations it captures or admire the nature we are surrounded by. The jury chose from thousands of shots submitted to the competition by amateur and professional photographers from all over the world.

The winners will be announced on November 23, and the top prize for the best photographer will be a week-long safari in Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards founded in 2015 by professional photographers Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullam. Their goal was to create a competition focused on the light-hearted, humorous side of wildlife photography while supporting nature conservation and its preservation for future generations.

Therefore, the competition is not only a show of smiling shots, but also a charity event. Every year, he helps to collect financial contributions for organizations that deal with sustainable nature conservation. This year, the organizers established cooperation with the British foundation Whitley Fund for Nature. This year, it celebrates thirty years of its existence, and during that time it provided more than twenty million pounds (approximately 600 million crowns) for the activities of nature conservationists in eighty countries around the world.

Even non-photographers can win

This year, the organizers are also continuing the established tradition and have announced a public award, called the Affinity Photo People’s Choice Award. For individual photos you can vote on the official website of the competition and one of the voters has a chance to win a financial reward of 500 pounds (roughly 14 thousand crowns).
