That is what Cartagena will be able to find from today, and until next April 4, at the Great Book Outlet. It is an itinerant event that Cartagena will hold for the first time in 2021 and will take place at the Mall Plaza Shopping Center, where all biosafety measures will be contemplated to contain the COVID-19 pandemic. Keila Ovalle, cultural manager and one of the event organizers, explains: “Attendees will find all kinds of books, there are more than 200,000 books, they will find the most awarded literature: Mario Vargas Llosa, Laura Esquivel, as Gabriel García Márquez, Paulo Chelo, among many others, as well as different publishers, children’s and youth literature, rather, all kinds of books. Attendance is free, obviously we, due to this situation that everyone is going through, we have our biosecurity regulations, so attendees must enter with masks and respect other measures. In other events, before the pandemic, we were only five days, now we are extending to a week or two, seeking greater coverage and not generating crowds ”. The Great book outlet will then offer original works with prices ranging between five thousand and thirty thousand pesos and will be open from Monday to Sunday, from 9 am to 8 pm There will also be a Comic show, a space with a wide range of comics of all genres, and a discussion on the history of comics along with the unique exhibition of the abstract cartoon work of the artist @FERTRAZOS.
