The artist from Roubaix ZKR had an immense fresco put up: it represents a giant gold disc from his first album In the hands published last January.
What a success. The artist ZKR signed in the roster of DJ Bellek (Kore’s little brother) unveiled a giant gold disc painted on the facade of a building in Roubaix. The artist took advantage of this work to shoot a new clip in the company of his supporters. Maybe for a potential reissue?
ZKR, the pride of the North
Total pride for the North and the Roubaisians. His album is freshly certified gold record. The artist made a lot of talk at the beginning of the year by releasing a very complete album with collaborations signed Leto, Niro, Koba la D and PLK (biggest hit of the streaming album). Her album sold 14,218 first week sales – an impressive score for a debut album – ranked 6th for best starts of the year. Like a Gradur in its beginnings a few years ago, ZKR carries its northern region and its city. Notably rare, apart from Paris, Lille is the city where ZKR is the most listened to in France according to Spotify data. With this fresco, the rapper still shows his attachment to his city.
What song for the clip?
As we know, ZKR took the opportunity to make a music video, surrounded by his fans who came to accompany him and give him strength. It remains to be seen which piece will be clipped in front of this fresco. A song from the album? A bonus song? An excerpt from a potential sequel to In the hands ? What is certain is that the northerner does not intend to stop there. And that this is only the beginning of a potential long career, for the greatest pride of his region.
