At the end of a breathless and scorching evening on Friday, the summer heat helping under an overheated Marcadieu hall, Nadine Benaboud received the crown of Miss Hautes-Pyrénées 2021, under the admiring gaze of the president of the committee Joris Fourcade.
The 20-year-old, very elegant and sublime in her gala dress, had not gone unnoticed earlier in the early evening, during the presentations of the candidates, where she had triggered a thunderous applause. His oral performance, made a bit awkward by his emotion, was touching.
“I am very shy by nature and I have no confidence in myself at all” she confided to us, just after her coronation. His atypical career and his human qualities undoubtedly seduced the public and the jury. Nadine Benaboud seems inclined towards helping others and driven by the values of generosity and solidarity. “I have a natural empathy for others. I was born to help them. If I can help anyone and anything, I will be available throughout my Miss year ”.
7 years in Norway
Holder of a professional baccalaureate in care and personal services support, she works with the elderly at the Ayguerote hospital. “Passionate about travel and foreign culture”, she spent 7 years in Norway depending on her parents’ professional assignments. Thus, the young woman is multilingual: she speaks Norwegian but also Arabic (the language of her origin) and English.
The winners of this “promotion” are completed by Coline Boireau, 23 years old, runner-up, passionate about travel and part of a year in London to perfect her English, Eva Bec, 24, runner-up, PE teacher who has done the fight against bullying a cause to defend, Agathe Duffour 18, prize for general culture, in second year of business school, and Angélina Rakova, 22, classical dancer of Ukrainian origin, prize for elegance .
Nearly 800 people attended this sold-out election, with the exceptional participation of the artist from Bagné, Robin Baron, candidate of the program “The Voice”. The two finalists of Miss Hautes-Pyrénées will participate in the election of Miss Midi-Pyrénées on September 4 in Villemur-sur-Tarn.
