What the City Council decided in its last session of the year.
Tanhausen. At the last Tannhausen city council meeting, Mayor Siegfried Czerwinski honored two blood donors who were unable to attend the November meeting. “I have never met anyone who donated blood so often,” Czerwinski stressed, as he handed Günther Thorwart the DRK badge of honor and a gift. He already has 150 donations behind him. Michael Schmid, who also received a badge of honor and a gift, has donated blood 50 times.
“Yes” to the heat convoy: The Climate Protection Act came into force in 2013 and was further developed comprehensively for the first time in 2020. In September 2022, the state government decided to further develop the Baden-Württemberg Climate Protection Act. Included here are concrete measures, including the municipal heating plan. Urban municipalities and large provincial capitals are required to draw up the municipal heating plan by the end of December. If a community has fewer than 5,000 inhabitants, it can form a so-called convoy with other communities and draw up a thermal plan financed with an 80 percent non-repayable subsidy.
Florian Schirle from Aalen University presented opportunities, goals and funding opportunities to the committee and answered questions. The university acts as a coordination point and establishes all the necessary contacts. Together with Kirchheim, Riesbürg, Stödtlen and Unter Schneidheim, Tannhausen has to form a convoy. With one abstention, the municipal council approved the application for the assignment of thermal programming to the convoy.
“Yes” to heating network expansion: In addition, the council unanimously approved the planned expansion of the heating network of the company Bioenergie und Service Abele GbR, which was available to the city council for inspection in advance as a meeting draft.
New tariff for the Festhalle: The administration also needs to break new ground for the use of the gymnasium and party room. The new rent and use rules, decided unanimously, involve changes to the rental services for those entitled to the input tax deductions (usually entrepreneurs and possibly associations) and for those who are not entitled to them (generally private individuals). The mayor pointed out that this can lead to confusion as it may not be clear why one club has to pay more than the other club. Czerwinski points out that this is because of whether or not you’re entitled to deduct the VAT and also whether you need furniture or want to use the kitchen.
Willows as a resting place: The Tannhausen city council has also decided to erect willows over the sports field, where green clippings and rubble are currently still being collected. The “Laube” should serve as a resting place and offer another possibility for civil weddings.
