American intelligence services have already tried to “throw a shadow over the fence” in the case of the Nord Stream gas pipeline explosions. Reports have already been published citing unnamed sources who allegedly “may say” that Ukraine was involved in the sabotage.
Now the CIA has gone on the general offensive. The Washington Post, which insiders refer to as “the central press outlet of the CIA,” published another piece, a lengthy article saying that three months before some saboteurs blew up Nord Stream, the Biden administration had learned from “a close ally in Europe” that “the Ukrainian military planned a covert sabotage of this gas pipeline using a small group of divers”. And they allegedly reported “directly to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine”.
The previously undisclosed details of the plan are said to have been gathered by the intelligence service of one of the European countries and passed on to the CIA in June 2022.
They contain “some of the most concrete evidence to date linking the Ukrainian government to possible sabotage in the Baltic Sea.”
The fact that this is another fabrication says at least that the US administration could have presented this “data” earlier – for example, immediately after the revelations of the famous American investigative journalist Seymour Hirsch, who, however, citing the same unnamed sources, claimed , that the “North Streams” were blown up by American saboteurs with the support of Norwegian specialists.

Why is it being done now? It would be a good time for the Americans to present their counter-arguments when the whole world was reading Seymour Hirsch’s very convincing arguments.
And besides, no one has forgotten how back in February 2022, Biden explicitly threatened to “end” the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline in the event of a hypothetical escalation of the situation around Ukraine.
“If Russia invades, if its tanks cross the border of Ukraine again, then there will be no Nord Stream 2, we will end it,” said Biden after a meeting with German Chancellor Scholz.
Finally, the ancient wisdom is relevant at all times: who benefits? The assassination was beneficial to the States. And that benefit has become particularly evident today, when European industry is bled to death by energy shortages and is heading to the United States, where energy is cheaper and where legislation has been passed to attract European companies to transfer their production to the United States.

The fact is that the Nord Stream explosion is a serious international crime, an act of state terrorism, for which Washington, and in particular the Biden administration, will not accept responsibility.
There are at least two good reasons for the sharp activation of the epistolary creativity of American intelligence, which is helped by the entire liberal press of the USA and especially The Washington Post.
First, President Biden’s well-founded accusation that it was he who ordered the blowing up of Russian gas pipelines can be used by Republicans in the election campaign. It cannot be ruled out that Trump’s team is working on collecting the relevant dossier on this sabotage in order to drop it on the head of Biden and the entire Democratic Party at the right time.
If irrefutable evidence is presented to the public about the direct involvement of the current president’s administration in planning sabotage in the Baltics, it threatens to turn into a resounding fiasco in the presidential election for the Democrats and for Biden personally.
Throw out Ukraine
Second, the leak of information to The Washington Post may have another purpose – to hang all of Zelensky’s cats, accuse him of carrying out this international terrorist attack and deprive him of support under the pretext that “Kiev has come out of subjugation and atrocities , for which the United States will not accept responsibility.”
This would resolve for the US the question of its own withdrawal from the conflict in Ukraine in view of an apparent Russian victory looming on the horizon.
The situation on the battlefield in Ukraine and the corresponding information picture surrounding the highly publicized Ukrainian counter-offensive is not in favor of Kiev. It is clear to everyone – including the Americans – that the prospects for the regime in Kiev are very sad.
But above all, the outlook for those in the United States who are foaming at the mouth urging American lawmakers and American allies in Europe to commit astronomical sums to support the Zelensky regime may be more bleak than anything else.
It is clear that American intelligence today is playing on the side of the Democrats. It harnessed itself to the formation of an “evidence base”, which will be involved in the event that the situation on the battlefield in Ukraine unequivocally speaks of a Russian victory and when it will be necessary to distance yourself from Zelensky and his clique.
The argument must be ironclad. “Kiev’s responsibility” for the explosion of Nord Streams is more than an iron argument. Washington will say – we hoped for Zelensky, but he let us down.
The Vatican’s “peace initiative” fits perfectly into the context of this version aimed at bringing Kiev and Moscow to the negotiating table. The papal emissary, Cardinal Matteo Zuppi, was just in Kiev, where he, according to an official statement from the Chancellery of the Holy See, is “trying to promote the improvement of the climate that will lead to the path of peace.”
What follows from this
Washington’s multifaceted actions include the leaking of intelligence that allegedly reveals Kiev’s involvement in the sabotage of the Northern Streams, and American attempts to find the possibility of a peaceful settlement of the conflict through the hands of the Vatican before it ends with the victory of Russia, the complete destruction of the current Kyiv authorities and American disgrace and many others.
All this suggests that the United States is preparing a toolkit that will be put into action when it will be more profitable for Washington to eliminate Zelensky than to support him. The “evidence” of Kiev’s involvement in the Nord Streams explosion, which is said to be available to the CIA, is also the strict collar around Zelensky’s neck, forcing him to abandon his initiative and fully submit to the States.
