Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the richest footballers on the planet. The Portuguese star not only dazzles for his quality on the grass but also for a life full of luxuries and eccentricities that both he and his partner, Giorgina Rodríguez, are responsible for sharing on social networks. In addition to his houses and his yacht, several of his latest posts on Instagram show his spectacular private plane.

Originally called ‘Astra Galaxy’, The G200 is capable of a top speed of 560 miles per hour, allowing the couple to fly in six hours and 25 minutes from Funchal airport on the island of Madeira to Turin in Italy. Its range is up to 3,910 miles with four passengers on board making it ideal for fast flights from Italy to hubs in Europe. But the G200 offers a generous seating configuration and It can accommodate eight to 10 passengers on one flight.

Cristiano acquired his private plane in 2015 for an authentic pasture: almost 22 million euros. It is a custom Gulstream G200, a model that began to be manufactured in 1999 and which today is a real ‘vintage’ vehicle: there are only 250 worldwide (in 2011 they stopped being produced). It is endowed with all kinds of comforts that make flying in it a luxury.

It is also very spacious and Cristiano even has a closet where he keeps his designer clothes. There is Wi-Fi, telephone, fax, electric oven, microwave, refrigerator and a multimedia system.

But also, the Portuguese star has been able to make his investment profitable. And it is that, when neither he nor Georgina are using it to travel, a private company is in charge of renting it to third parties for the not inconsiderable sum of 3,000 euros per hour.
