Suspect Jose Vazquez, 46, was arrested for allegedly throwing a brick at an FDNY ambulance and then battling with police officers in Queens.
In accordance to the NYPD, the ambulance was initially called on 45th Avenue and Vernon Boulevard in Extended Island City about 9pm on Monday to handle a guy with a lacerated wrist.
At the time, Vazquez reportedly threw a brick at the car or truck and ruined one of the windows, in accordance to police. “When EMS replied, He obtained offended and begun misbehaving. “ a spokesperson for the NYPD said.
Vazquez presumably officers punched and kicked whilst refusing to be handcuffed, the police explained. Two NYPD officers and a paramedic sustained small accidents, authorities stated.
Vazquez was arrested and billed with 3 counts of assaulting a police officer, criminal perform, resisting arrest and harassment, She said New York put up. He was taken to Cornell Hospital for analysis.
All fees are mere accusations and the people today prosecuted are presumed innocent until tested guilty.
