A full-length show celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Setanztheater Nuremberg

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the Setanztheater allows classical and contemporary music to collide and merge. Both the dance art of the set dancers and the live-played original compositions of the string trio “Trio Vier” move between fusion and confrontation of eras. There are always real-time reviews from the audience. Presenter and glitter queen Roxy Rued leads through this unusual examination of the enduringly popular ballet classic “Swan Lake”.

The mystical swan creature in Swan~Shake is a symbol of art at the crossroads between modernity and tradition, between society and the intellectual elite. The swan fights. He even remains unprotected and vulnerable in front of the eyes of art critics and the Tafelhall audience. An open heart operation in the performing arts of dance and stage music.

Conceived as an outdoor dance project, principle.Swan~Shake was an initial study for this full-length Swan~Shake dance production from last winter until the summer of 2024. A completely new production can now be expected in the Tafelhalle!
