Several users on social networks reported that a fugitive prisoner from justice brutally attacked the mother of his daughter in the province of Sancti Spíritus, leaving her seriously injured and mutilated after the attack.
According to the victim’s family, she was identified as Yadira Reyes Urrelis, who was attacked on November 28 with a machete.
Cuban activist Diasniurka Salcedo Verdecia pointed out that the attacker, whose name was not revealed, carried out this crime in front of her own daughter, and that the injuries caused the victim to lose both arms.
For her part, Internet user Lorena Viera, who identified herself as the victim’s niece, indicated that the aggressor was serving a sentence, but that he escaped with the aim of carrying out the violent attack against Reyes Urrelis.
According to the complaint, the criminal went to Reyes’ house and used the machete to injure the woman in several parts of her body, leaving her in serious condition, without caring that their daughter witnessed everything.
“He stung her wherever he wanted, leaving her in a very bad state due to the machetes he gave her all over her body, in front of her minor girl, who was with her. Today she is in a very serious condition,” she revealed a few days after the crime.
While the woman did not mention the attacker’s name, she shared a photograph of him, in the hope that he will be brought to justice.
“I sincerely ask you all to share this information and I only ask the Almighty God to take care of my Aunt Yary and be there with her. And this man, who does not deserve the life he has, may pay the highest price that can exist in this life,” he wrote.
Finally, he stressed that the victim was not alone, and urged his family and friends to share the information by all means necessary so that the authorities do their job and stop the dangerous man.
“To my relatives, who have been there since yesterday, go wherever you can to move this animal,” he concluded.
