A French-ontario at the SuperFrancoFête de Québec

CITY OF QUEBEC – The well-known French-Ontario singer, Damien Robitaille, will take the stage of the Superfrancofête that he will reunite, this Wednesday at the Port Agora of Quebec, the great talents of the francophone musical world in the world.
This is the first career appearance for the Lafontaine artist, as the last edition of the event dates back to 1970. Damien Robitaille shares the Superfrancofête poster with characters such as Ivorian singer Tiken Jah Fakoly, Zachary Richard, Robert Charlebois and Patrick Bruel.
“It’s an honor!”, Launches the singer in an interview with ONFR+. “People thought I was a little crazy singing in French and here I am with all these big names,” she adds.
The singer will perform his latest hit Welcome to Longueuil and his cover of the song Dance in St-Dilon.
“Gilles Vigneault did it, now Damien Robitaille will do it! “, He jokes.
With him it’s all a way of singing the Francophonie that he carries in his suitcases. “Now I am part of this Francophonie family and carrying the Franco-Ontarian torch has always been a source of pride for me”, he concludes.
The event, which will see the participation of about thirty artists, will be broadcast in almost 200 countries.
