The French FA said in a statement: We are filing a complaint after Antoine Griezmann’s goal was wrongly disallowed from our point of view. Such a protest must be filed within 24 hours of the final whistle.
Tunisia won 1-0 and were eliminated from the World Cup, while France progressed from Group D and reached the round of 16, facing Poland on Sunday.
The French federation did not specify whether the complaint was linked to the cancellation of the goal itself or because it was canceled after the final whistle.
